Happy New Year

It's New Years Eve. We have no plans for tonight, just staying in and watching a few movies, having a drink or two. Nothing fancy.

I am excited to start a new year and have high hopes for what it will bring. I have been working on a list of a few goals. I want to improve a few things, work on a few other things and start some new things.

I don't know why but I have really good feelings about 2010 and what it will bring me and my family. Something just tells me that this is our year.

I hope all of you have a safe New Year celebration and good luck on those resolutions, you have a whole year to accomplished them.

Christmas Recap and a New Year Approaching

This is the wonderful gift Scott got me. A total surprise, I cried when I found it hidden under my pillow while making the bed.
some reason I can't figure out how to get the picture the right way but I know you can tell what it is.

Christmas was so much fun. I have a ton of pics to share with you so bare with me. It was Allison's first Christmas to remember so I took alot of pictures.

Here she is looking totally cute in her Santa Dress. We are on our way to Grandma's House for Christmas Eve Dinner and presents.

Picture of her in her Santa dress with a piece of kindling she would not let go of...she wanted to burn it so bad.

I wonder if I can taste what this present is.

Looking through the window waiting for Santa Claus.

Christmas Morning...I just love the magical feeling of Christams Morning and finding all the loot he left for us.

Opening her first present...

A video rocker, just like dad.

Grandma Carol sent her this beautiful blanket that is so warm, she couldn't wait to get the bow off before deciding to curl up with it.

Going through stockings...my favorite.

Dad and Allison playing in her little garden house.

Daddy got a suitcase of money for Christmas and Allison just loved playing with all of it...she sat inside to count it all

Then she tossed it all out to count it all over again

And last we have a few of the outfits she got for Christmas
A pink sweater and matching hat...so cute but she won't keep the hat on for more than 5 seconds

An adorable dress that has a matching sweater, but it was to hot in the house to wear it.

This was the dress she wore on Christmas Day...her Christmas dress. She gets one every year and this is my favorite so far.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a great New Year. I will see you all in 2010 with great new updates and some new content, so stay tuned. The new year is going to be a fun one.

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

WARNING!!!! LOTS OF ALLISON PICTURES

On Saturday we went to Grandma H's house and decorated cookies. It was messy fun. Allison did a great job putting the sprinkles on the cookies and licking the frosting off. She also ate the legs off a few stars but the sugar sprinkles she put on the tortilla chips made them much better tasting than the cookies.

This was a masterpiece...

Aunt Helen and Allison

Of course Daddy and Allison

Allison put these antlers on herself. We found her head banging with them on trying to get the little bells to jingle on them.

Merry Christmas Everyone !!! I will be back next week with all the Christmas festivities we enjoyed, God bless you all and hope you have a great Holiday!!!

Grandma & Grandpa B

Grandma & Grandpa B came to visit yesterday to celebrate Christmas with us. We don't get to see them often so it was a really nice visit. I really miss them and wish they could come down more often or move here so they can see Allison all the time. We had a nice time and Allison just loved them and all the presents they brought. She was also showing off alot, somersaults, talking, laughing and dancing. It was fun.

Allison got to open one present and she picked the biggest one they brought which turned out to be dress up princess clothes.

She had a blast trying on all the stuff and walking around dressed as Snow White.

My mom told me that Allison would start playing in the box because there is nothing better than a card board box...she was right.

That evening I packed up the princess stuff and put it back under the tree. While I was making dinner I hear some rustling and presents being moved. I peek and saw Allison moving presents so she could get the princess clothes back out.

And to sit in the box one more time.

Thanks for coming to visit Grandma & Grandpa. We love you!!!

Stay tuned, I have a great post with lots of pictures of the cookie decorating party we went to at Grandma H's house...I love Christmas!!!

Great Grandpa

My Grandpa, Allison's Great Grandpa, came over for brunch on Sunday. I had so much fun talking with him and looking at pictures. Allison really loved him and liked to show off just a bit.

And here we are all snuggly looking at pictures.

My Grandpa also gave me a couple of pictures he took while in Texas. They are of his Air Force outfit. He was part of the 1st Air Commando that fought in Southeast Asia. He flew the L-1 and the L-5 planes in WWII and I am very proud of him.

I had a great time listening to him and really enjoyed having him over. I know Scott & Allison didn't mind either.
I hope all of you have a great day!!
