Chocolate Rain, But Not Really

I am sitting down to a delicious chocolate muffin. Half of it at least. Not quite chocolate rain, but close enough.

This morning has been one of those that make you want to pull out all your hair and scream, cry and throw a fit. Allison, as I have said before is almost 2 1/2. She is awful, her additutde stinks, she bites, has started hitting us and her brother, throws major tantrums, pulls my hair, throws stuff, hits herself and screams at the top of her lungs if she doesn't get things she wants.

All this has happened this morning. Add into the mix Scotty crying nonstop for a couple of hours and you have one flusterd mommy.

And to top it off I decided to cut back on coffee today. All I can say is BAD IDEA.

I really hope things get better by this evening. All I can do right now is enjoy the peace and quiet while they nap, maybe catch a few z's myself and finish my delectible chocolate (1/2 only) muffin.

Hope you all are having a better morning than me.

"Brudder" and Other Pictures

Allison has a "brudder". She loves her brother. He is good for lots of things, but a pillow is her favorite.

She hides in the toy box then calls for mommy or daddy to find her.

Allison & I walking through the park, I have pulled out the old camera so I can get some better pictures.

Scott piled high with the kids, just wait till they're older and bigger and both jumping all over you daddy.

My little parasite as Scott calls him. He always sleeps on me like this.

Have a great day!!!

BOO!!!! I Scary

Here is Allison getting in the spirit of Halloween...

You can hear Scotty crying in the background, I think it's so cute how she tries to quiet her brother at the end.

By the way, the mohawk is not part of her costume. She is going to be a fairy princess.

Have a wonderful day!!!

So Much to Say...

As if life couldn't get anymore hectic.
Scott has finally been witness to the amount of time it takes to get 2 kids and 2 adults ready to go anywhere. It was pretty quick though, about an hour & a half. It usually takes me about 2 plus hours to get everyone out the door.

We had a great weekend, rainy and cold (on Sunday); yet relaxing and unproductive. I like those kids of weekends...LAZY.

I found some old pictures from about 2 years ago, maybe longer, of Allison, Scott and I.
Scott, probably 2 plus years ago, not much haas changed except face hair style.

Me about 2 plus years ago, amazing how much life catches up to you, my hair is now much lighter (from the onset of grey)

I just couldn't beleive how much Allison and Scotty look alike (the same jammies even, gotta love hand me downs).

The top is Allison about 3 months old, bottom Scotty about 1 month old, (actually taken last night)

We also ventured to the pumpkin patch on Saturday (it was about 80 degrees and sunny). We ended up going to the FFA run pumpkin patch to support our local high schools Future Farmers of America. For some reason Allison is obsessed with pumpkins, she had a blast looking and touching all the giant squashes and pointing out all the squishy ones.

Hope all of you had a wonderful wekend, I am off to take a quick nap before the kiddies wake up.

The Amazing Technicolored Dream Beard

The amazing part of the whole thing is that she was dancing around the livingroom coloring** her chin before I realised that she was actually COLORING HER CHIN.
By the look on her face she was pretty proud of her masterpiece.
**I am very thankful that it was washable marker

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

More Baby Pics

More pictures of the kids is all I have. Nothing exciting is happening. Had a doctors appointment today and am cleared for exercise and lifting so I am gearing up to lose about 20 lbs baby gain. I have already lost about 20lbs so the last 20 doesn't seem so bad.

Since I am breast feeding I am just changing the types of foods I am eating, more nutritious stuff and less of the yummy junk I ate throughout the pregnancy. By next year I should be back to my old self again.

Allison just had to have a "squishy" like her brother

She just can't resist laying down next to him no matter where we set him down, she is right by his side.

Showing him her bibidi bobidi boo wand she got from our neighbors, it glows in the dark.

Singing us a little song and hamming it up a bit

He is all cheeks and chin, all 8 pounds of my squishy baby, nom nom nom

A little less yellow now, jaundice is going away

Always sleeping, that's a good thing

Have a wonderful day!!!

Finding Time

Finding time...
to do everyday housey things
take care of a 2 year old and a newborn
to squeeze in some sleep
leaves hardly anytime to blog.

But every minute is so worth the exhausting effort. I love our newly expanded family, our son is a great sleeper and hardly ever cries. Allison on the other hand has been waking everyone up at about 1:30am to eat waffles and play with brother. I can't wait until she gets her sleep schedule back to normal.

Now for some new baby pics...

He is still a bit yellow from the jaundice but it is improving alot

No post would be complete without hammy Allison!!!

Have a great day!!!
